#75 SOLD - JOAN BAKER Vintage glass box-'Hummingbird' - for jewellery, trinkets
This is a really lovely hexagonal glass box.
Joan Baker Design - 'Hummingbird'.
With the words "I thank God for you".
The 6 heavy glass sides are all bevelled.
The inside base bottom is a mirror.
The box stands on little brass bun feet, and the top of the box and lid edge are in brass.
The bevelled glass top of the box is hand painted in rich jewel colours of ruby, emerald and purple.
The design features frosted edge with florals and a hummingbird.
Approximate measurements: Height - 8 cm (3 1/8") Width - 11.5 cm (4 1/2").
In very good condition.
This is a real find, and would also make an unusual and lovely gift! (The pictures do not do it justice.)
